Joe Jackson's partner is a criminal

TMZ has just revealed that Joe Jackson's business partner for his new record label, is a convicted criminal.

Marshall Thompson, who Joe famously introduced during a news conference a few days after MJ's death, served 366 days in federal prison back in 2001 after pleading guilty to two counts of conspiracy to commit extortion in Illinois.

Thompson, an ex police officer, conspired with active duty officers to sell police badges for $1000-$2500 each

According to federal docs, the businessmen bought the badges so they could get the perks of being a cop -- carrying a concealed weapon, parking in restricted areas and "receiving discounts for goods and services"

Before Thompson became a felon, he was a member of the Chi-Lites -- a band famous for "Have You Seen Her" and "Oh Girl" back in the '70s.
So much drama for the Jackson family.
RIP Michael.

Nicole Sherzinger: "We have our disagreements"

If you happen to live under a rock and are unsure who Nicole Sherzinger is, well she makes up one fifth of the Pussycat Dolls. Arguably, you could also say she is the Pussycat Dolls.
The group have been dogged with many reports claiming the band are splitting up, but from the Dolls themseleves, they are staying around! She says she loves working with her 'sisters', but has admitted that she doesn't always get on with the fellow dolls.

The lead singer, who is currently dating Forumla 1 champion, Lewis Hamilton, says that the group have learned how to deal with pressures of working together. "We are like sisters - we have our disagreements but most importantly we love each other and know how to be professional," she told
Metro.
She added: "We know how to stay out of each other's faces."

Most of the speculation of the band's split came from the release of their single 'Jai Ho'. The cover for the single cause controversy when it stated 'The Pussycat Dolls, featuring Nicole Sherzinger.' The band has always been the subject of scrutiny of the over emphasis of Nicole, who always sings lead vocals, and background vocals. Oh well, who cares, they're amazing.

Jackson doctor NOT under investigation

Contrary to the previous post, Michael Jackson's former doctor is not under invesigation by the LAPD.
Many reports are circulating that the LA Coroner's Office demanded Dr Arnold Klein hand over medical records relating to Michael in conjunction with an alleged enquiry into whether he had prescribed drugs to the King of Pop.

Speaking to Access Hollywood, his lawyer said: "The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office has confirmed that Arnold Klein, MD is not a subject of the investigation into the death of his treasured friend and patient Michael Jackson."Dr Klein has previously produced records to the Coroner's Office in response to a subpoena. Following the coroner's informal request for additional information, representatives of Dr Klein agreed to produce further records tomorrow."

His attorney added that "neither the coroner's office nor the LAPD have advised Dr Klein or his representatives that he is the target of their investigation" and dismissed speculation that the medic had been refusing to co-operate with them. Dr Arnold Klein also dissmissed rumours that he is the biological father of Michael's two eldest children.

This seems to be getting messier by the day. Let's just hope the rumours stop for the sake of Michael's family, children, and millions of dedicated fans around the world.

Writing on her Twitter account, she said: "All the money I got paid for the Piers Morgan interview was donated to Vision Charity. Thanks for all your support, good or bad, you still wrote."

Personally, £100,000 for an hour long chat?! That's ridiculous. Bet Pete wasn't too impressed. But kudos to her if she did give it all to charity.

American rapper, Nas, has insisted that he does not have the fortune his wife, Kelis, claims he has.
The rapper says that his soon to be ex wife is lying about the $11million (£6.7million) value of his last record deal in order to secure a larger divorce settlement.

Shocked BB housemates learn of Jackson death

Big Brother housemate Noirin has just learned of Michael Jackson's death through her task with BB4's Federico. As the two prepared for the gymkhana task in the garden, Federico did an impression of Michael.

"Who's this?" he asked before Noirin answered correctly. "Did you hear about him?" He says, "He passed away, he had a cardiac arrest."
Noirin replied, "Don't tell me that", seemingly rather confused, though she didn't question the news and waited to start her task.

As she started her task, and unsympathetic Federico shouted "Michael Jackson's dead!".

Once the task was over, Noirin told housemates that she had learned of something important from the outside world, setting off wild speculation between the group. Charlie suggested that the Queen had died or that Katie Price and Peter Andre were back together.

After confirming with Big Brother that she could spread the news, she announced: "For me this is a really big deal because I loved his music, but Michael Jackson has died."

A shocked Siavash said: "Are you s**ting us?", while the others said that he was a "great artist" and "brilliant dancer".

Rodrigo added that the news ruined his day and angrily told Noirin that "now we will just think about this".

Lisa added that Federico shouldn’t have told the house about the news.

Jackson death is 'being treated as a homicide'

According to TMZ.com, Michael Jackson's death is now being treated as a possible homicide by the Los Angeles Police Department. TMZ also reported that several sources within the LAPD are focusing their concerns on Jackson's former doctor.
Police officials are quoted as saying there's "plenty of powerful evidence" to link Jacksons former doctor, Dr Conrad Murray to an anaesthetic called Diprivan, which the King of Pop is alleged to have taken.

It is reported that the evidence includes items found in Jackson's rented home, including the painkillers, an IV stand and an oxygen tank.

The celebrity website also claimed that the LAPD had already held "multiple conversations" with the LA County District Attorney's office about the case. An attorney for Murray has reportedly refused to comment on whether his client administered the drug.

Really sad to hear. Maybe when the toxicology test results come through, we can let Michael rest in peace.

Our thoughts are still clearly with his family and especially his three children.
